The Feather is a microbudget Viking-era epic produced on an LED volume through emerging Virtual Production workflows. As a director, I techvised a complex action sequence with stunt coordinator Mike Viola and executed this high-stakes vision on set. As Story Lead, I wrote our script, and corresponded with the cultural advisor of A24’s The Northman, Neil Price of Uppsala University, to obtain cultural artifacts that enriched our story. As Virtual Production Supervisor and VAD team member, I led the virtual and physical integration of real-time storytelling elements, developed previs and procedural lookdev assets across VAD, production design, and producing teams, and managed nDisplay virtual camera configuration, level optimization, the engine ops team, and versioning in collaboration with VAD for Unreal Engine, Houdini, and Maya assets for LED wall environments.
