I am a Writer/Director with experience in Virtual Production, Mixed Reality, and Generative AI. I was most recently Writer of our beautiful screenplay and Director of the complex, tech-vised stunt sequence choreographed by Mike Viola on the epic Viking short film The Feather, produced at the Martin Scorsese Virtual Production Center in Industry City, Brooklyn in March, 2025. Our thesis team from NYU Tisch is currently wrapping post-production, and prepping for 2026 festival submissions. Through the incredible contributions of sublimely talented actors, generous and skilled crew, the greatest period-accurate hair and SFX makeup team of all time, and the cultural advisor of A24’s The Northman, our team crafted a deeply emotional, visceral, and inspiring narrative of defiance against the powers that move the world for the sake of justice and love. As a wee child, I authored picture-books of stapled scrap paper, featuring original and minimalist (stick figure) drawings and their respective words. Designed to convey my unique developmental journey I entitled them “Joyce Books.” In the context of the family living room, they were a sensation.

As an alleged adult, I work as a Visual Pioneering Artist at Eyeline Studios - Powered by Netflix, where I engage with cutting-edge filmmaking practices and an inspirational, world-class team of fellow filmmakers. I am in pre-production for my first feature film, a TBA Dark Fantasy about an evil Wizard, a Forlorn Queen, and one Village Girl plagued by the troubling nature of her life and determined to take up the ultimate Quest to do something about it. In partnership with Jay Michaels of JMGC Global, I will be taking the feature’s pitch deck into the world beginning Spring, 2026.

I have also worked as First Assistant Director and VFX Supervisor on the Seed & Spark Awarded short film Night of Melancholia by Fozhan Gharib, interned in Virtual Production at Gum Studios in Brooklyn, NY, performed as Sugarsop, The Widow, and Assorted Household Servants in Will Kempe’s Players The Taming of the Shrew, and Writen/Directed the short film The Alien Invasion (Will Not Be Televised) during my studies at The New School and Parsons, which was screened at Ruff Cuts Film Festival and The Great Film Club in New York, Fall 2024. Previously, I worked as a Studio Manager at the College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY, where I also produced webseries and managed the campus Broadcasting club by building partnerships with local theaters, talent, and vendors.

My obsession is the new renaissance—the reunion between art, creativity, and storytelling, and science and technology through today’s virtual windows. I seek out science and climate fiction, alien worlds (including our own!), anthropology, postmodernism, transhumanism, and XR technology, and stories that rewrite existing narratives. Until we get those robots and interstellar spaceships up and running, I’d love to hear from you! Please contact me via the channels below. I would love to learn more about your project and passion.
